Battery-free IoT systems

These are two passive IoT projects recently completed in our lab, namely the self-powered intelligent sensing floor and the passive voting system, and I was deeply involved in each part of them. The screen displays a real-time data visualization interface updated by the cloud platform. The floor is based on the piezoelectric energy harvesting, and the voting system is based on electromagnetic energy harvesting. When the self-powered sensors are largely deployed, massive data at even the extreme environments can be collected without worry to replace batteries.
